Last updated: October 15, 2026

Cura Group Co., Ltd. (“Cura”) provides a customer-messaging platform. Businesses connect their Facebook Pages so they can reply to the messages and comments they receive. This page explains what Cura stores from Facebook and Messenger and how to have it deleted.

On this page
  1. 1. What Cura Stores From Facebook
  2. 2. If You Are a Business Using Cura
  3. 3. If You Messaged or Commented on a Page
  4. 4. What Happens Next
  5. 5. Contact

01What Cura Stores From Facebook

When a business connects a Facebook Page to Cura, Cura stores:

  • The Page connection details: the Page ID, the Page name, and an access token that lets Cura send and receive messages for that Page.
  • The messages and comments sent to the Page, including text and attachments, the sender's Page-scoped ID, and the name and profile picture that Facebook provides.
  • Information the business adds in Cura, such as notes, labels, and bookings linked to a conversation.

For how Cura handles personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.

02If You Are a Business Using Cura

  1. In Cura, open Channels and disconnect the Facebook Page. Cura stops receiving new messages and comments from that Page.
  2. Remove Cura's access on Facebook: Settings & privacy → Business integrations → Cura → Remove.
  3. Email support@cura.so from the account email and ask us to delete your workspace data, naming the Page. This also deletes the stored conversations from that Page.

03If You Messaged or Commented on a Page

If you sent a message or comment to a business Page that uses Cura and want the data Cura holds about you deleted:

  1. Email support@cura.so with the subject “Data deletion request”.
  2. Include the name shown on your Facebook profile and the name of the Page you contacted, so we can find the right conversation.

You can also manage which businesses can contact you from Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.

04What Happens Next

  • We may ask you to verify your identity, or the Page, before we delete anything.
  • We delete or anonymize the data we hold within 30 days of a verified request, except data we must keep for legal, contractual, or regulatory reasons, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • We confirm by email when deletion is complete.
